At Alexander Greek School, our students are the heart and soul of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to welcome individuals from all corners of the globe, aged 5 to 101(!), and from an incredible variety of educational, professional, and cultural backgrounds.

Some of you come to us as high school or university students, eager to enrich your education or pursue academic excellence. Others are PhD candidates or retirees seeking to fulfill a lifelong dream. You come from professions as diverse as aviation, tourism, art, film, literature, education, and even diplomacy or politics. Some of you have Greek roots and are reconnecting with your heritage, while others come with no Greek background at all, but a strong passion to immerse yourself in the language, culture, and history.

No matter where you come from or what brought you here, when you join our school, you all share something in common: a love for Greece and a desire to learn its beautiful language. We are proud to say that Alexander Greek School is open to everyone. Your ethnicity, religion, background, or experiences do not matter here. What unites us all is the shared desire to learn Greek, discover its cultural treasures, and build meaningful connections.

What makes our school truly special is you — not just as students, but as individuals who enrich every class with your unique perspectives, energy, and enthusiasm. Your participation in our weekly Greek activities — whether cooking, dancing, or exploring Greek traditions — brings the classroom to life and creates lasting memories for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud of the Alexander Greek School network, a growing community of former and current students who maintain relationships with us and each other, long after the lessons are over. Many of you come back to visit, sometimes just to say hello when you’re in Greece, and we are always thrilled to see familiar faces. Some of you even form lifelong friendships, building a global network of people connected by a shared love for the Greek language and culture.

This section of our website is devoted to you, our students, and the incredible stories that make you so special. We’ll share highlights, testimonials, and inspiring moments from the many people who have passed through our school. Whether you came to us for a short course or have returned several times over the years, know that you are an invaluable part of our community.

Thank you for choosing Alexander Greek School as part of your journey. You are our pride, our inspiration, and the reason why teaching Greek is not just a profession, but a joy.
